Monstrilio is one of those books that are really difficult to fit neatly into any categories and marketers don’t really know what to do with them.

I’ve read quite a few books this year that ended up being marketed as horror just because they had some kind of monster in them, even though they didn’t fit the genre. one of them was even a romance book lol it just happened to have werewolves in it

honestly more disappointed at how USA-centered this year’s nominations are. even more than usual
