Videogames are great. I don’t understand people that think the medium is any more unproductive or a waste of time compared to spending hours of screen-time doom-scrolling on social media or watching reality TV. Some of the best works of fiction in the last 30 years have been games. Use of escapism and entertainment is at an all time high (thank you bread and circuses), everything is good (or at least reasonable) in moderation.
