When I was 11 or 12, I found a couple of my Dad’s Falconhurst books, by Kyle Onstott and Lancer Horner. I would put in some of the descriptions and phrases in the name of parody… but these books were very sexist, very racist and very violent. (none of which my Dad was). It was a very 60s/70s book series, and the sex and violence was pretty graphic.

But this kind of stuff was not good for a boy, and messed me up a bit.
There was a Brit TV series, 5-10 years ago, very swashbuckling, you might like that too. Good casting and lots of action
