I understand that Warmer Bros does offer some mental health care for TLC employees and TLC therein offers it for shows like Hoarders but does anyone with more inside knowledge of 90 day cast contracts, know if they are offered long term MHC? I found myself on another sub for a TLC show and saw how vile people can be with their online hate filled rhetoric. I’ve seen the downward spiral of these cast members after years in the spotlight. It’s easy to see that at least 90% of cast members on this particular show have some sort of mental health disorder and being thrust into the limelight only exacerbates issues and creates new disorders. TLC’s next show needs to be one that focuses on helping people through things like narcissistic personality disorder, body dysmorphia, depression, anxiety, etc, etc. Any inside knowledge on the matter of those contracts is greatly appreciated.
