Looking on Amazon and other sites the cheapest paperback is $116. Why?? I understand this book is kind of a cult classic but are there only a limited number of them?
I actually had P.F. Kluge as my professor in college and have read (I think) 3 of his other books. Should’ve asked him for a copy of this one lol.
Just wondering what the reason for this is, and if I’d actually be hard pressed to find a copy at a bookstore/Barnes and Noble

Try bookfinder.com. It’s an aggregate search engine.
It must be out of print. Sellers have been asked for it a lot, and/or have previously found that buyers were prepared to pay a lot for it. So the next time they acquire a copy they try for even more money. If someone bites at the new price, on it goes.
