I didn’t read the comics but what exactly happens to the woman? Because at this point I feel like people are saying it’s “important” only because it’s happening to man. No is explaining how it helps the story.
I mean I feel like it’s a big part of marks development especially around the time when him and eve move to a new planet and he tells her what happened and how he isn’t so comfortable with having sex yet because of this scene here.
