Even the things you mentioned here: Bojack still seems like the shittier person with the things you have marked. I also love how you just marked “Sexual Predator” and not the context, to make it seem like she is a sexual predator, lol.
Cross checking these lists…
-Eleanor took her cousin to prom which harmed him. Fair, this was confirmed by the show. But don’t forget that Bojack took a group of teenagers to their prom and harmed literally all of them (Maddie got alcohol poisoning, we see how that affected Pete when he shows back up, and it ended with BJ nearly having sex with Penny which we see harmed her).
-Eleanor continued buying coffee from a sexual predator + refused to boycott his shop. Yeah, that’s shitty. You forgot to mention that Bojack worked with a sexual predator, abuser, and generally hateful and bigoted man (Vance).
-One other thing of note that Bojack did: got Sharona fired.
I feel it’s important to note that I’m not trying to justify Eleanor’s actions here. She was a pretty shitty person when she was alive, but you’re so intent on making her the worse one of the two… for what? If all of your comments in your first thread were in good faith, I wouldn’t feel inclined to point all of this out. But it was just copy + paste of the exact same sentiment, followed by this post that proves you have a bias (or have, at the very least, developed one) that you want everyone to agree with.

Also, Eleanor Shellstrop was clearly an asshat and a dick, perhaps low-key a bad person, but she’s not a sexual predator and she’s not responsible for someone’s death. In what world is sexual predator comparable to anything Eleanor has ever done? There are LAYERS to being a bad person and BoJack is clearly worse.

Eleanor definitely. Some of the stuff Bojack does on the list he immediately realizes “I did a shitty thing” and at time tries to fix it but fails, not that that justifies it BUT Eleanor did all that and with a shit eating grin in her face happy about it. I really couldn’t stand her, it was like watching Dolores Umbridge.

Okay, first. Bojack is, ironically, a more realistic version of a crummy person. Most people think they’re decent and don’t want to confront what they are. And most people aren’t awful all the time. Eleanor was unapologetically bad, nearly all the time, and it was deliberately a bit exaggerated in style. Bojack was sometimes good, sometimes fun, sometimes bad, sometimes really bad. That’s why Eleanor reacted casually to bad things - because she’s something of a caricature. Bojack, meanwhile, reacts normally to watching someone be hurt, because he’s meant to be more realistic.
Two of your examples do not work. In the Bojack universe, Mr. Peanutbutter is an independent adult. The dog Eleanor took care of is not. Also, again, the show is exaggerated. No animal is actually going to look like that after one day. This couldn’t happen in the Bojack universe.
The T-shirt comparison is frankly insulting. Eleanor took advantage of someone being an asshole. That does not come close to being analogous to Todd’s sexuality.
As for Sarah Lynn… I think he sufficiently aided in fucking up Sarah Lynn. I think that terrifying speech he gave her to make her cry in front of a laughing audience is bad enough.
The closest things they did were the prom thing. Eleanor did not do anything directly; she took her cousin to the prom. Bojack, meanwhile, gave kids a bunch of alcohol, abandoned one with alcohol poisoning and tried to sleep with another. The long term effects were at least as bad.
None of this is to justify anything Eleanor did. The point is that Eleanor was over-the-top. She was bad all the time. Bojack wasn’t. He may seem more palatable because he reacted appropriately (sometimes) to bad things.
