Penny’s mum walking into the boat. First watch had me absolutely shocked and I just sat there in the darkness of my room in the middle of the night with my jaw on the floor for the entire credits. Had to take a little break between the next episode while binging, I was feeling pretty hopeless and wanted exactly this level of shock in a show so it was perfect for me at the time, got me right into the show knowing that things would get more tragic and crushing while also knowing I was slowly growing to love these characters and their interactions, this was just the moment where it clicked for me as it really shocked me, I wasn’t expecting the writers to go there as bojack already rightfully realised what was happening and rejected her so when I saw the show cut to the exterior of the boat my heart dropped. It’s also amazing that the show doesn’t overuse the swearing as penny using ‘fuck’ in her final words to bojack really cemented how much he fucked up. Made it so much more uncomfortable on his drug binge when he went and saw her, just felt bad for the poor girl.

Neither really imo. If someone/somethings attractive to you that’s just how it be (unless they’re talking about the kid version of the characters in which case they need some holy water)
