The new series reminded me how much I want to read the comics. I’m really keen to find a way to get them in the most efficient way possible, from a space and cost perspective. Like I don’t want to have to buy hundreds of individual books, bc I straight up don’t have the patience to find them all haha. Any advice? I’ve looked at the compendiums and stuff before but I’m worried I’ll be missing some
personally i used a pirate site and blasted through issue by issue, took me about a week. message me for a specific link if you want, i’m a little hesitant to put that up in public
You won’t miss anything important if you get the compendiums. There are other stories in the Invincible universe, but they’re not really attached to the main story.
Here’s the FAQ about the comics if you find it helpful. https://www.reddit.com/r/Invincible/comments/n2g18e/should_you_read_the_comics_and_where_do_you_start/
Thanks!!
If you’re not a collector and have a library card, you should check out Hoopla. If they are available in your branch, you can read all of the compendiums digitally for free!
I read them all for free via Hoopla. If you have a local library account you can probably use Hoopla for free. There’s a limit to how many items you check out per month, so it took me four or five months to finish the whole series. Gave me something to look forward to each month.
