No not really. Levy is pronounced differently because Kirkman decided it should be pronounced differently from literally anyone else that has the name Levy.
Thaedus is pronounced differently because people can’t spell.

They just goofed on the “I knew all along” reveal. She’s perfectly fine before and since.
Shrinking Rae, the woman, is more likable than Shrinking Ray, the man in the comics. They get equally little attention though.
Clone? His whole shtick is that he resurrects if you put his parts together, hence his name.
I think they should change it and I think it’s possible that they actually do. Show Nolan’s actions were more heinous and Show Debbie is more independent and has a stronger will.
Nolan almost killed her son, killed her friends, killed hundreds to thousands of innocent people, and had a baby with someone else that he basically dumped on her to raise. How the hell is there any way to come back from that?
Instead of getting back together like nothing happened, they could just agree to be civil with each other. It’s not like having them bang nonstop on the spaceship was necessary to drive the plot.
Technically he can come back from anything as long as all of his body is put back together. However, since his head way crushed to smithereens way up in the air it would probably be a Humpty Dumpty type scenario if anyone tried to bring him back.
I thought when Nolan said Debbie was more like a pet to him, that he meant it in the most literal way possible
They would drain our planet’s resources for themselves and use us as slave labor. Also if the guy who lived here for 20 years with a loving family said we were animals and murdered hundreds of us, imagine how much worse the Viltrumites would be that just showed up. Not getting cancer isn’t worth living as cattle.
“I wouldn’t love you if you were a worm”
I’d say show first, then comics. I think the show hooks you faster than the comics, which has a bit of a slower start. I watched season 1 and then read the comics while I was waiting for season 2.
I don’t think there’s a right or wrong answer. The comics are completed and well done, but some aspects are a little dated. Robert Kirkman considers the show his second draft, but we’re at the beginning of season 2 when the whole story is going to be about 7 seasons long according to him.
What did Angstrom change in that universe? Nothing. He was only there to figure out how that universe defeated Invincible. He just said “make him pay” because he wants that Invincible to suffer and/or die.
They’re setting up a ton of shit for later. Filler implies you can just skip it and not miss anything important. Do you watch the first 20 minutes of a movie and complain that it’s filler?
If Immortal ever gets the stick out of his ass then they could be bros. And his kids would live as long as he does.
Lol Cecil probably blew all their funds teleporting around for funsies. In the comics Donald says that it costs around 8 million dollars every time he teleports.
In the comics the beast is not that tough and more of a formality to fight. His real obligation is to marry the Queen and consummate the marriage in the middle of a big stadium. He avoids having to actually do it by pretending he’s too scared and setting up an adviser to defeat the beast instead.
Night Boy seems a lot more sympathetic in the show. He gave off the vibe of a scared and confused kid. In the comics he felt more like Jack the Ripper. I think it’s going to make Mark look like he’s more in the wrong against Cecil.
Doc Seismic would be my favorite villain if it weren’t for the Mauler Twins, love them both.
Battle Beast is probably coming back in season 3. That seems like about the right time for the Viltrumite prison break and Kirkman said there are some voice actors from season 1 that will be returning in season 3. I can’t think of too many other characters that were absent this season but come back.
I could’ve sworn comic Eve made food for the African village she lived near and for Mark and Amber when they visited. They at least address this in the show though. In the Atom Eve special, Brandyworth says she can’t do anything to people or animals.
Kirkman really likes his long vowel sounds. Can’t wait for Conqueest, Deenosaurus, and Grand Regent Thraygg.
