I do feel bad that he regrets it now and he can’t find his son. That must feel awful. However, it brings back Neopets memories. When I was a child and I reasoned like a child I had neopets. One time I got tired of my Korbat and I put it in the adoption center. I regretted it later and searched for him. Some French kid got him and wouldn’t give him back. This is before online translators so the French kid said in some broken English “I am sure you will cope.” My emotional response was the same as Sarpers. I was a little bummed and still kept an eye out for Korbat half heartedly but got a new Korbat. Just got a new one. Soon forgot about the one I deleted. Sarpers people want to see “how he is as a father”. They have already seen. He’s a NeoDad. Virtual pets have come a long way since 2002. Consider adopting a Neopet, Sarper. Do not pressure this woman who highly values her figure to produce for you a second try. Also, are you going to weigh her through the pregnancy? She will get fat. She won’t have time to exercise frequently. What are you even doing?

I met my biodad when I was a teen, after my mom refused to tell me anything about him. They divorced when I was 2. He has been doing just fine. He literally said he didn’t want to fight my mom to see me, so just decided to not pay any child support, and start a new family instead (replace me). He also told me unsolicited that when I get married, “if she’s coming to your wedding, then I’m not coming.”

I don’t know if he wonders why I don’t reach out to him after that. It took a lot out of me to initate that contact. I would assume that he most likely has once again forgotten that I exist at all. Personally, I’m deeply ashamed (and angry) to be genetically related to such a person. It’s true, he does treat me like a discarded neopet. I understand that Sarper’s son is probably seething. It is an unhealable pain, and I feel bad for him (the son, not a tear to spare for Sarper).
