It’s not ideal, but I see his point. If you’re living in eagle wood, it’s not as bad as portrayed, but is still rough. I don’t think $2500 is much of an exaggeration. Also, I don’t remember what this guys does, but seems his still working on it. I think he’s making the best he can out of life at the moment. Sharing a bathroom with a few roommates probably isn’t much different.
to be fair, that shack is in LA. he probably pays $2,500/no for that. it has a fucking garden! ;)

I live in LA and I’m currently apartment haunting. I’m that area that likely runs him around $1200 or so - no more than $1400
