      I don’t understand how that whole “I am human” speech didn’t set off literally any alarms? All these guardians are portrayed as smart or smartasses and can’t tell something’s off/are so trusting

        We cut away from them as soon as the speech finished. We don’t really know if they’re suspicious or not.
