Feel free to tell me I’m nitpicking, but I felt like the Atlantis scene was poorly written. You’re the queen near a super dangerous creature, you have zero security, AND YOU CAN’T SWIM WELL. The math ain’t mathing. Then, Cecil just causally brushes off Mark going in for a marriage and nearly getting killed. Either Atlantis lied which is pretty serious or you weren’t up to date on Intel which is your job as spymaster before sending in any personnel.

I did like the debate between Eve and how she executes philanthropy. Her dad put it poorly but sometimes red tape is needed to make sure things are done right. On the other hand it’s also on red tape to communicate their denials and present solutions in a reasonable timeline. If that lady and the community I’ve been asking about it for years seems lazy to not put a notice “hey this is a sinkhole” rather than waiting for someone to get hurt to say something. I’m interested to see how they use Eve to rebuild. I’m sure she could figure out code and find a middle ground with bureaucracy.
