To address your uncomfortability, I believe that’s the point. It’s not supposed to be a good relationship and will likely have problems later down the line.
To everyone else here saying it’s alright cause they’re both adults and that Immortal would never date anyone if he took age gaps into account, y’all are forgetting about mental maturity.
18 year olds are legal adults. But the brain doesn’t fully develop until 25. And they can’t even legally drink yet. Kate was part of a group called the Teen Team just a few months before joining the Guardians of the Globe. At most she probably just got to legal drinking age. Are y’all telling me you’ve never been creeped out by 30+ year old men going to college campuses and hitting on the sophmores/juniors?
But anyway, Immortal could still date a little fucking higher than early 20s. There are plenty of 30+ year old women who have more life experience and also aren’t his subordinates.
