Lool, I know I know, comedy show and all.

I still haven’t finished the show (got two episodes left) but it rub the wrong way how Dani basically bullied Van Damme just because they were playing on different teams during a special occasion.

When characters do something assholely in this show, they usually make up for it and grow as people, but nope. Dani was just being a dick to Van Damme for no reason. And it wasn’t really all bad until he broke his nose intentionally.

Kinda ruined Dani’s character a little for me. When he joined the show, he was supposed to be like the contrast of Roy and Jamie. Super friendly, hyper, motivational.

You know what? It was the dog incident. It must’ve turned his heart cold.

I didn’t see it as bullying. “Bullying” would imply that Dani was picking on a weaker and powerless person. Van Damme isn’t smaller weaker person. Dani was just more serious about the rivalry and Van Damme wasn’t taking part in the rivalry. Dani was more competitive, but both are elite athletes at the top of their game. I didn’t see it as bullying just one sided competition. IF he broke Van Dammes nose intentionally, that’s bad sportsmanship to be sure. But noses get broken in the course of sports all the time.

And then Dani brought Van Damme a cool AF mask to wear on the field while his nose healed. That’s not the act of a bully.
