Lool, I know I know, comedy show and all.
I still haven’t finished the show (got two episodes left) but it rub the wrong way how Dani basically bullied Van Damme just because they were playing on different teams during a special occasion.
When characters do something assholely in this show, they usually make up for it and grow as people, but nope. Dani was just being a dick to Van Damme for no reason. And it wasn’t really all bad until he broke his nose intentionally.
Kinda ruined Dani’s character a little for me. When he joined the show, he was supposed to be like the contrast of Roy and Jamie. Super friendly, hyper, motivational.
You know what? It was the dog incident. It must’ve turned his heart cold.
Super random here but if the show has gotten me interested in watching professional soccer but I have no clue what I’m looking at, should I just start watching matches? Will it be possible to understand enough to enjoy the game just by jumping in?
NWSL Championship on Saturday!!! Unfortunately it’s the end of the season but it should be a great match!
The podcast “Go my favorite sports team” has a soccer primer episode that goes over the history and rules. The entire intent of the podcast is to introduce sports to people who don’t know them. I highly recommend it.
