I think we can all agree that Bojack, as the main character, beats many if not all the main cast when we talk about being morally corrupted. Still, who have you considered a " worse person " — the definition of bad person isn’t really precise I know, but consider it as " person who does actions generally considered deplorable by the public. " — than Bojack while you were watching the show?

This question is tricky with bojack for a few reasons-

    1. This show is doing its darndest to empathise the monster. Almost every horrible thing is surrounded in vague actions open to interpretation.
    2. Many of the worst characters in the show are written to be cartoonishly evil, people like Bea’s father, and the white whale.

    My pick is Hank Hippopotamus.

      Bea’s father

How is he cartoonishly evil? As a modern American man, he is woefully unprepared to manage a woman’s emotions. He was never taught, and he will not learn. /s

Whitewhale. I know he is a caricature of the ultra rich, but the man lobbied to legalise murder for the rich. Murder. And we see he did it to kill pro-union workers with his bare hands. That can’t end well.

Anna Sponokopota, she supports and elevates terrible abusers like BJ and Vance Wagner with no regard for the impact it will have in society at large, all for her own clout and benefit.

… I can actually see why another user pointed to her now. Yea, now that I think about it, her whole shitty persona was shadowed by other events, but she was awful. I never truly liked her too for abandoning Bojack soley because he didn’t won the Oscar.

Sarah Lynn’s father always confused me a whole lot. It is clear that he was abusive from what child Sarah Lynn said while they were filming Horsin’ Around, however when she is an adult he seems a truly sweet and understanding father and husband. Maybe that is to show that a cover doesn’t make the book, idk.

It feels like you missed the point of the show in how you’re framing this question. There are no good and bad people. There’s just people who all have their traumas and reasons why they act the way they do. I would not even agree with you that Bojack himself is “morally corrupted.”

Agree with Ana, Hank, Whitewhale, Vance, butterscotch. In addition to those I vote Beatrice even though she was just as traumatized as bojack. She’s pure evil.

I could never understand Beatrice apologists. While she was traumatised, of course, she never really had a true reason — apart from the promise to Honey, — to hate Bojack. The worse part for me is when she was affected by dementia and loved the fake baby Hollyhock more than she ever loved Bojack. I couldn’t blame him for throwing the doll out of the window.

A great pick though at a Minor awful character: Sarah Lynn’s Father. I don’t know if it’s been mentioned by someone else here today yet but >!it’s Heavily suggested/implied he molests her

I can’t believe he hasn’t been mentioned yet because he is easily the most evil person on the show.

    Joseph Sugarman

Joseph Sugarman who had his wife lobotomized after he recognized she had mental health issues and acknowledged he was too lazy to deal with them, blamed the Jews for “peeving off Hitler”, is implied to have sexually harassed his secretary and/or chested on his wife, and attempted to marry his only daughter off to a man she was not interested in to enhance his business interests. Joseph Sugarman has 0 redeeming qualities. He has 0 redeeming qualities and we don’t get any indication of addition or past abuse/neglect to explain his destructive behavior. The only character you could argue is worse would be Sarah Lynn’s stepfather, who is heavily implied to have sexually abused her.
