I’m only on episode 12 of 90 day fiancé: the other way, but I can’t get over the how scared Sarper is of the social media thing. Maybe I’m being naive or gullible or giving him too much benefit of the doubt, but as someone who has been stalked and doesn’t use social media for that reason, I completely understand wanting to keep all my accounts locked down and not wanting my partner to post about me. So just taking him on his word about this, why knowingly agree to be on a reality show with all this exposure? Arguably much much worse than a girlfriend making an IG post about you.
And if he IS making up a bs excuse to prevent shekinah from getting messages from ex scorned lovers or wanting to preserve his single/playboy status, honestly same question… all those people are gonna come out of the woodwork eventually and/or people will clearly see he’s dating somebody.
I suspect that there is a woman (or maybe women) on the sideline who Sarper has led her to believe that she is in a relationship with him. That would explain why he doesn’t want Shekina’s presence on his social media and why he fears that would lead to “stalking”.
It’s one thing to have previous one night stands come forth. He has already admitted such to Shekina. But it’s a whole different thing to have women who believe that they are in an ongoing relationship with him come forth.
