I watched the show for the first time a few months ago and I absolutely loved every moment about it. It has helped me better myself and I’m thankful for the show. I don’t have Apple TV anymore because you had to pay for lots of other stuff even after getting a subscription. Did the show ever get released on DVD? If so, where can I find it? I didn’t know which flair to use, so I’m sorry if it’s not the right one.
Not officially on DVDs but you can occasionally find a For Your Consideration DVD online for sale (what Apple gives out for awards consideration to voters).
There is a download option (on iPhone, anyway). You may be able to download the series and save it offline.
What’s a D V D? Is that like a new app or something?
So you want to go from watching it in 4K on Apple TV to 480p on dvd? May I ask why?
The real reason to keep physical versions of content is if for some reason Apple decides to take down the show it is gone. You cannot access it anymore through normal consumer methods.
It’s actually a problem you can see in other genres and if you don’t believe me you can google it yourself. There is totally a reason to buy this stuff if it holds that much value to you. The service could be $.25 a month and you might want to own the show in another format. That’s completely fine.
That being said if you have content that you arbitrarily refuse to sell to someone that wants to hand you money, I’m less concerned with the alternative means someone might take to get it.
I’ve looked into this, and as far as I can tell, anyway, Apple hasn’t released any of their series on DVD. One way I’ve looked is searching for said series at the library - if the library has it on DVD, I can likely buy it too - but I’ve had no luck with Ted Lasso.
Flixhd-dot-cc is how I watch almost everything these days
The show has yet to be released on physical media. Recently a few “streaming exclusive” shows have been receiving a physical release by there respective production company (ex. Loki from Marvel/Disney, The Boys from Sony). So I would hope some day down the line WB will give the show a release, some audio commentaries wouldn’t hurt!
There are FYC disks and Chinese releases on eBay, also someone selling a flash drive with all three seasons. I purchased them all and they all work. I hate subscriptions and recurring payments.
I have the same issue. Love the show and I would love to just shell out the $40 or whatever the average price of a box set is and just have to for the rest of my life. I don’t want to spend the $6.99 a month for the rest of my life just to watch one show.
