The show doesn’t follow the comics in a linear way, you’d have to read from the beginning or wait and see where this season ends

The show changes the order of events and combined storylines like in this episode >!the Atlantis stuff!< was issue 15, >!the Midnight City stuff!< was issue 21, >!the graduation!< happened issue 17, the Washington thing I’m pretty sure didn’t happen in the comic

The main plot for episode 2 comes from issue 15 but it also adapts parts of issues 17, 21-22, 25, 31-32, and 36. The show doesn’t adapt issues in a 1:1 manner so trying to read the comics gradually to avoid spoilers won’t work. One example of this is the fact that Robot doesn’t receive his cloned body until issue 34 while the main plot of season 2 hasn’t gone beyond issue 22 yet.
