I’ve always felt that My Adventures with Superman has a similar vibe. Scott Pilgrim Takes Off is also very well made but they’re different shows overall.

presumably no budget constraints
Why would you presume that they have unlimited budget
From memory, doesn’t Oliver lose pretty much every fight against another Viltrumite? Even in a situation where he kind of holds his own, he still ultimately loses.
The ship was only called after Lucan incapacitated Nolan. If that hadn’t happened, Viltrum might have sent more, but I imagine it wouldn’t have been for quite some time.
I don’t know if they’ll end the season on a cliffhanger like that. I expect it to end with issue 3—it would be a good parallel with the first season’s ending and a nice capstone on the setup from the mid-season finale.
I’ve never seen someone miss the point by this much.
“Only 8 episodes per season” isn’t really a thing to complain about considering they’re twice the length of a normal animated series so it’s really more like 16 episodes.

They’ve just rearranged some sidequests so they could fill out the first season while still ending on Nolan’s reveal. The comic’s pacing is a little different considering that the Guardians aren’t killed until issue 7.

Sony owns the rights to Spider-Man in film and live-action television (plus animation if it exceeds 44 minutes). Marvel owns everything else.

Based on that conversation, Eve’s father would consider sleeping with even a single person to be promiscuous.
The common Thaedus pronunciation is everyone just getting the name wrong, I see it misspelled as “Thaddeus” all the time. Levy, however, has many different possible pronunciations that all have the same spelling.
“You’ve gotta be [Invincible]—” could still be a sentence so it still plays off the idea that the title card interrupted someone saying invincible.
It’s not like the show exists in the same continuity as the comics. The most likely answer is that they felt that little tidbit wasn’t important enough to include so they simply didn’t.
Seems a little early for this season, unless they wake up Allen in episode 5 or 6.
