With a bigger budget, they managed… that the characters look dead in many scenes and their overall appearance is inconsistent. That didn’t happen in the first season. I was surprised that anyone considered this an improvement in quality. On the contrary, it’s a terrible distraction. I finished watching the first season month ago (for 1st time) and this was never problem. Watching Mark really “hurts” me at times in seson 2.

Yeah, I think Mark’s animation looked a lot better in Season 1.
Maybe it’s nitpicky, but something about faces do feel different this season.
wrong place to complain about this . of course you are right , but in this subreddit the smallest criticism , especially of the animation will have you gaslit by a lot of people .
example: we can all clearly see what you’re talking about but many pretend they don’t see it 🙈 . being a fan is praising the good and calling out the bad, but on reddit , it’s praising the good and pretend the bad doesn’t exist .
If it wasn’t for the sheer number of people who opened up about Amber in season 1 , the same thing would have happened, no one here would have seen what was wrong with her , but they were forced to admit it because of how many people complained .
Soon the same will happen with the subject you brought upon, the visuals, the animation , all that . right now people will just cover for the show , they will pretend that every weird change is great and is better for the story .
notice how on youtube the invincible reaction videos are getting WAY less views than in season 1 , that’s because the interest is tanking . the silent majority can see what you see, and then some, they just don’t care to come here and talk about it .
