They’d struggle with Thor, too.
Anyway, physicality is kind of a moot point, because there are several telepaths and reality warpers who would destroy the Viltrumites.
Marvel and DC: are we jokes to you?
I feel like the more interesting question is which ones could they NOT conquer outside of their verse?
Nolan is considerably more powerful than Thula and there was a pretty big chunk of time between S1E8 and S2E4.
Idk about ‘great,’ in all honesty.
A lot of the adaptations in this episode were better in the comic. Between those failed adaptations and the unnecessary cuts back to Earth (with the exception of Debbie, in my opinion), this one missed the mark, to me.
It was mostly one-on-one, though. Almost entirely, really. He had the upper hand, somehow.
It’s so much more complicated than that, given his position.
It’s safe to say him pulling ship out was very impressive, but it’s difficult to know how close he really was. It wasn’t close enough to immediately pull in and wreck that spaceship.
It was just kind of weird that he so abruptly got the upper-hand against a skilled full-blooded Viltrumite with hundreds, if not thousands, of years of more experience than him. Thula wasn’t holding back (or at least not by much), so why is it that Mark started winning as soon as he stopped doing so?
Focusing on Debbie’s actually made sense, in my opinion. Including Donald, Eve, and the Maulers was the big mistake, in my opinion.
What?
No clue why you’re being downvoted. Mark was clearly hurting her with his punches.
Thula was dazed and waiting for him to resume his attacks. It wouldn’t have been long, IMO.
He definitely was fighting her by himself and he would’ve either finished her off or come close if it weren’t for his hesitation.
I believe it was implied (or maybe straight-up shown) that Thula needed several other Viltrumites to help her, and without them, her life would’ve been at Battle Beast’s command.
I agree with the first paragraph, but disagree with the second. I thought it was good, but nothing special.
DanCo: “a black hole. A FREAKING BLACK HOLE.”
To further solidify his attempt to guilt trip Mark.
