    I feel like Diane covered most I would say but I would probably tell him that wanting to change and feeling bad about your actions isn’t enough, it will be difficult but you have to take the time and effort to make a change. Than you can maybe stop hurting yourself and all the people around you. Probably smt on that line…

    Seeing yourself as a victim is the fastest way to become blind to your power and responsibilities. Yes, you’ve been treated badly and you feel alone. That sucks and I’m sorry. But you are not that sweet helpless kid anymore - you are a powerful grown-ass horse who can either continue to hurt himself and the people around him or figure out his shit.
