    Well she’s 23 , she hasn’t had much experience with a real relationship so she does not know any better. I did some extremely dumb shit at her age, that I still think about today. She will grow and learn.

    I was in the same situation. My boyfriend was older and easily manipulated me because I was immature and easily molded. He would force himself on me whether I wanted to be intimate or not. It wasn’t violent, so I thought it wasn’t a big deal. He was my boyfriend after all. Looking back, it was rape. I have PTSD watching Sophie and Rob. It reminds me so much of my past relationship and how it damaged my self-worth.

    She’s only 23 and he’s 32. I was in that age gap at that age and a real dumbass for a scrub with a shitty attitude, too. It’s delusion for sure.

    I married a guy with the same age gap eventually so no shade on that, 23 is an adult and all that, but sometimes when you’re still a toddler-adult 32 just looks like they’ve automatically got it together when lots of people don’t.

    They’re not even together anymore. I’m sure she’s just keeping up appearances which is smart. She isn’t defending him. Defending him would be giving a list of reasons on why he’s a great partner. Not just “no!” Lol. Cast members who start talking trash too soon and giving shit away don’t come back to the show.

    There are women who only date men who are horrible to them. One of my friends is waiting for her guy to get out of jail so they can continue living with different friends every few days cause he won’t get a place since he refuses to work. He’s beaten her, leaves her places, broke her stuff, messed up her home she used to have. Every one tells her to run, but nooo… and she has a different guy obsessed with her that has a good job, a house, and would do anything she says. She’s one example.

    Yea, I don’t think Rob is great, but does anyone think her story “my family is wealthy” is true? I think she’s making that up. Her story about wanting to be independent and not ask for help doesn’t jive with her being desperate to move and having nothing to contribute. She went to another country with zero funds. She sounded delusional talking about living on the beach, even after he said it’s $25k a month, I’d be comfortable there but have zero funds, because I’m too proud to ask my family. If she’s not proud enough to ask him to support her, why not her family for help?
