So they’re looking at egg donors who will have half the DNA… so only Kenny OR Armando gets to contribute the other half. Right?? Am I disabled ? Have they discussed which one gets to actually be related to the child? Isn’t this sort of weird? Is this normal for gay couples ?
Heterosexual couples going through a donor or surrogate will not both be genetically related to the resulting child either.
Unless they’re implanting embryos made from both of their genetic material into the surrogate’s womb, but this is less common and (I think?) more expensive. There’s also some outlier situations where things that sound impossible are achieved (like three genetic parents!), but Google will teach about that better than I could.
Google would indeed be a superior education source for OP here 🙃
