1. Hey Fellow Book Admirers!

I am on the hunt for a captivating mystery novel to keep me on the edge on my seat. I’ve always been fun of suspenseful plots and clever twists. Whether it’s a classic detective story or modern psychology thriller, I am open to all suggestions.

Here are a few mystery novel I’ve enjoyed in the past:

  1. “Gone girl” by Gillian Flynn
  2. “The girl with a dragon tattoo” by Stieg Larsson
  3. “Big Little Lies” by Liane Moriarty

What are your favourite mystery novels, and why do you recommend them? I’m eager to discover some hidden gems or explore popular titles which I have missed.

Looking forward to your suggestions and happy reading!

Janice Hallett is really working her way into my heart as one of my favourite authors. I thought The Appeal was ok, I really liked The Twyford Code and The Mystery of the Alperton Angels.

Wrong place, Wrong time - Gillian McAllister Was my mystery of the year so far.

    Little Ghosts - Gregg Dunnett

Was advertised as having an amazing twist and I was like, ‘we’ll see about that’ but I was totally gobsmacked by a very well executed twist.

Dorothy Sayers is my favorite classic mystery author. I especially like Strong Poison, Murder Must Advertise and Gaudy Night.

Tony Hillerman is an author I found at the library and I ended up reading all of his mysteries.

No Exit by Taylor Adams. Maybe it’s more of a thriller though!
