Honestly, most days I’m agreeing with what Danielle is saying when it comes to finances, but the most recent episode (13/11/23) when Danielle asks Yohan to pay half the rent, plus bills etc. I think was super unfair. She has an American job, which pays American wages. Yohan is/was working for Dominican wages.
When Yohan said if he contributes the same he will have nothing left for himself. And I agree with him (if these facts are true)
In my personal opinion, I think financial contributions should be split by % of income. My partner (33M) contributes more to our household because he earns more. If I (29F) contribute the same, I wouldn’t have any personal savings or extra money for myself. When I was earning more, I was contributing to the household more. It goes both ways…
They both suck.
Danielle is, as far as we know, hiding a full ass bankruptcy from Yohah. She lied to him about going to the US, she’s in the DR because she is bankrupt. Meanwhile she keeps spending money above her means somehow. Clearly she promised him things and keeps forgetting about all the shit she said. She also keeps pretending like this is true love when he has said in the show that he wanted an American wife to either go to the US as promised or she’s paying for everything.
Yohan is terrible because he just wanted the green card or money, didn’t get either, just dug a financial hole for himself and is now scamming woman on FB according to Danielle. He has 0 feelings toward this woman at this point, I doubt he even had any to start with.
I’ve said this 100x, they tried to play each other and played themselves.
