I don’t remember if that’s the case in the show or not, but the whole conversation got leaked in the comic
well then i feel like a few people would put 2 and 2 together with Mark’s secret identity
Nolan only referred to Mark as either Mark or Invincible, and Nolan’s secret Identity was kept private from the public.
I bet some conspiracy junkies would figure it out, but they get drowned out by all the other theories. Plus the government is able to get away with secretly poisoning the tap water to cover up their experiments I think they’d be able to silence anyone who figures it out.
In the comics they explain this away by saying mark is one of millions of people named mark, and him and his dad worked all over the globe and never had one specific city they were dedicated to. Thus, it would be difficult for one to piece his identity
i mean if William was able to put 2 and 2 together with just the info that “Mark wasnt at that spot, and he had a closer look at his costume” then i feel that some people at his school would put 2 and 2 together if they knew Invincible was called Mark, knew their dads looked identical, and knew that his dad “died” around the same time as Omni Man leaving the planet
