I’ve been catching up on the last few episodes of Last Resort, and seriously what is wrong with Jovi?! Yara is gorgeous, hot body and sticks by him but also speaks what’s on her mind! I think Jovi goes way past just having fun but really gets so deep into his… “hobbies” that naturally any woman would beging to feel insecure. How does he want to have more kids with her but can’t be man enough to leave the whole strip club scene, let alone text someone whom he hooked up with and traveled with before! I think Yara really needs to give him a rude awakening. Maybe he feels like he has the upper hand because she’s not in her home country but that’s not right either. As much as I dislike Ed he brought up a good point by bringing up Jovi’s daughter. Jovi should start taking her into consideration…. Especially when wanting more kids! 🤦🏻♀️
I genuinely think he’s addicted to alcohol and the ❄️ ❄️❄️ … as a fellow excess partier, never wanting to go home, making bad + horny decisions (when the strip club is often the last place open) is giving me that impression…also waking up and taking a swig of a drink and pretending he thought it was “juice” gave me chills because I’ve done the same before
THIS. I also partied a lot and worked adjacent to Wall Street so I know it very well and you’re exactly right.
Yes. The drugs, the lifestyle, and the fun is all too much to just give up. He has the perfect life; he gets to party for a month then he gets the perfect home life for a month.
does he work on a rig tho? there’s no partying on a rig, the party happens when you have 28 days off and are flush with money
You dock places all the time and the company dictates drug testing. I think people are often surprised at who does and does not drug test.
Him waking up and finishing his “juice” is what made me realize he’s a full-blown alcoholic and not just an aging party boy
A lot of the cast members drink heavily, but I’ve never really heard or seen them talk about it as a concern the way Yara does.
Yes, some don’t like their partner’s drinking due to cultural or religious beliefs, but she brings it up often enough for it to be pretty clear it’s an ongoing problem that isn’t getting better. And he’s trying to diminish his own behavior by bringing up other people’s “indiscretions”. Like a little kid saying “but they started it” to shift the blame from themselves when they get caught.
Absolutely. He’s got serious issues and strippers aren’t even in the top 5.
