That his mom first said she understood where Shakinah is coming from and admitted that pregnancy is hard but then turns around and says it’s her duty to give him children?? I figure this is a strong cultural belief where they’re from.
And yes, pregnancy is hard. People forget that it’s considered by the medical community to be a “serious medical condition,” by definition. But besides that, she has every right to say No to him.
