Sequid’s are based pretty heavily on starro clones, and we’ve seen that they(sequid’s) can take control of recently dead people. Given the amount of and the process by which we see sequid’s and we know starros reproduce, any victims of the creatures parasitism that has been under its/ their control for any amount of time longer than a day, is likely either dead, or wishing they were.

To be fair, robot couldn’t have known this, but we do.

I disagree, the workers that got infected in the sewers recovered just fine and had been infact es for longer than a day

NGL it’s been a WHILE since I’ve reread the comics. That’s true, but despite that being some we know, do we know if the GotG or Pentagon knew or thought that? Also I forget wasnt this guy the astronaut that got infected on mars? If so HE might have been well beyond saving, and Mark might not have known that, but he might have been able to tell, he might have been able to tell there was no pulse in him anymore. Idk, it’s pretty clear that even if he was savable, was he worth saving? That’s my mentality, and mightve been marks.
