I’m at a point where I need to sell some books to get more 😅 However, I always go back and forth about what price to put them at because I take really good care of my books, but people often complain saying I have it priced too high for a “used” book. I mean, quality wise, they still look and even smell new so what’s the big deal if I’ve read it once? I just want to make back what I bought them for. What are your opinions on this?
A used book is worth basically zero monetarily if it’s a common print unfortunately. That’s just the way it is. I tend to donate them or give them away. Second hand books generally go for about £1-£2 where I am at most. Maybe more for academics but still a lot less than retail.
