Wait for the TV show/movie would be my advice. It’s a great book but the translation does feel a little bland at times and the pacing is strange. Amazing concept though and I’ve enjoyed some of his other books.

A used book is worth basically zero monetarily if it’s a common print unfortunately. That’s just the way it is. I tend to donate them or give them away. Second hand books generally go for about £1-£2 where I am at most. Maybe more for academics but still a lot less than retail.
