They’ve really added a lot agency to most of the female characters from the comics to the show;
Eve leaving home before graduation.
Debbie already being a real estate agent.
Telia being a general in the coalition instead of just Allen’s partner.
The Atlantean Queen not wanting to marry Mark and already leading without her husband.
Amber learning on her own and being okay with Mark’s long absences.
That’s nice and all but I’d like to have seen them with more flaws, complexity and humor. Giving them all an important job and a strong will is just kind of patronizing. Female characters should be able to be the ass hole, or the comic relief, or the dumb one too. Instead too many of the “fun” characters are male.
