I don’t get how people here don’t seem to understand that you’re not just going to be immediately cool with the spouse of someone who murdered yours. Whether or not they are actually to blame, it’s entirely human and nature to lash out at them. He didn’t get physically violent or even that hurtful with his comments to be honest compared to what he lost.
It would be incredibly idelaistic to expect someone to rationally just accept that she knew nothing and that she was also a victim, he is grieving and found an easy target to blame. It’s like parents of shooters or spouses of killers in real life, they may have been just as hoodwinked as everyone else but you would not expect victims of their child/spouse to immediately offer a shoulder to cry on while they are also still grieving.
Yeah, I don’t get why people are being so quick to judge here. It’s not like the guy’s continually being an asshole to her over a long period of time anyway, he had a single outburst.
I also think people are assuming he has as much information as we do. I doubt he has any idea about the whole “pet” thing, for one, and he definitely didn’t (until Debbie told him, at least) know that Invincible was her kid. If we spent all this time following him around, we’d probably see Green Ghost die violently and have no idea who did it for a year, until the equivalent of Superman reveals that it was him, beats the everloving fuck out this random kid, kills like tens of thousands of people in an hour and then leaves forevermore.
Not saying his outburst is logically justified, but I get it, if only in that moment. If we’re going to pillory every dumbass who gets unjustifiably angry at any point in their lives, all of us will have eggs on our faces.

I thought he was hitting on her, so to me he was an asshole for everything except the things you wrote.
