I actually think he was trying to hit on her. One of his big sticking points when he was talking to the group was waking up in an empty bed, after all. Plus, the way he phrased it, as a bar a couple of the group go to after meetings, implied it wouldn’t be just them, but it was, and that’s SUPER fucking manipulative.
