It handled sad moments well, it handled humor well, it handled action well, it handled romantic moments well. It was imo just really well paced.
Something about this episode just felt really nice.
I liked episode 2 but so far it was definitely the weakest of the season, while episode 3 is just the best so far, and I know just KNOW that next week’s episode will be even better.
Honestly Invincible as a whole just feels like it was made by people who are good at both making and analysing TV. Like they know what makes a good story, they know how to make it, they have good source material, and they can make it even better. And some of the things they did get wrong in season 1 (Amber) they are doing a pretty good job of redeeming now that they have the chance.
