It handled sad moments well, it handled humor well, it handled action well, it handled romantic moments well. It was imo just really well paced.
Something about this episode just felt really nice.
I liked episode 2 but so far it was definitely the weakest of the season, while episode 3 is just the best so far, and I know just KNOW that next week’s episode will be even better.
Narrator outta nowhere cutting from sex scenes cracked me up
That Optimus Prime voice was just butter on my morning pancakes.
Episode 3 was amazing honestly
It was also really fantastic for comic readers. So many scenes I was excited to see packed into one episode.
It was jam packed for one episode. I was impressed. We had four plots all in the span of an hour.
Honestly Invincible as a whole just feels like it was made by people who are good at both making and analysing TV. Like they know what makes a good story, they know how to make it, they have good source material, and they can make it even better. And some of the things they did get wrong in season 1 (Amber) they are doing a pretty good job of redeeming now that they have the chance.
My favorite episode so far, the Allen part was awesome
Felt like 20 minutes of fluff…
Maybe the movie date was a little on the slow side but the rest of the episode was non-stop plot progression with a huge cliff hanger twist
New director this episode. He feels very experienced
It’s so easy to say but that episode was literally a comic book come to life
Absolutely. Just finished it. Really stood out as a fundamentally great character drama show not just a superhero show.
I felt so involved and invested in the characters and the layers behind all their decisions truly feel complex and weighted.
I think something Invincible has been doing well is showcasing that even when there’s a frustrated element between some characters in the way they interact it’s based on historical reasons. You can always see the other’s viewpoint.
Like it’s irritating watching Cecil bluntly use mark as a tool in a really cold manner, but from his viewpoint he has the burden of a planet to look after and ultimately knows he’s reliant on Mark but he can’t help be wary and distrusting because he’s been severely punished of being trusting before.
Super well written.
Yeah. This episode just felt like so many things including nostalgic somehow despite violence still occurring. I don’t know how to explain it
nostalgic is a good way to describe it.
I love how the Allen segment had its own title card and brief credits sequence
It was very horny. And they killed Allen.
Wish they showed the scenes
Best episode of season 2 so far. Maybe the second best episode of the show so far.
