I’ve been trying to get into novels for a while now (Miserably failed). But two days ago I got “YOU” which I have already watched the first two Netflix seasons for, And I’m having a great time with it.
Turns out All I needed was a couple of novels I’m already familiar with their Movie or TV Show/Game adaptations. So, I’m curious to see if there’s a tool that’ll take my imdb watchlist and ratings and tell me which of the stuff I watched was originally on paper.
Yes, It’s super lazy but my IMDb library is huge + I have already been disappointed many times after finding out one of my favorite tv shows was not based on a book. Basically convenience.
I don’t know that there’s a specific tool for that, but there are plenty of Goodreads lists to explore. You could find familiar book titles that way. (Lists are not quality rankings. Most will “vote” for a book just to indicate that they’ve read it, so books higher up have just been read by more people.)
