    Here’s a thought. In the USA authors get paid every time you withdraw their book from a library right?

    Well given that these book bans are not federally legal (1st amendment) couldn’t publishers and authors file class actions against individuals involved in the advisory group for loss of earnings. Since there is no legal basis for the removal. The books were bought by librarians for public libraries. There’s a breach of contract here.

    I mean it mightn’t work but if the publishers GAF they could frighten the crap out of these idiots with lawsuits. It’s what any other corporation would do.
