His real name is Bob Reynolds and he’s an insanely op hero who has the power of a million exploding suns he also has a dark entity inside him called The Void which can destroy universes and it even scares the Hulk he does have a weakness he has a plethora of illnesses, which include anxiety, depression and extreme agoraphobia he’s such a depressing and interesting character but like a lot of great and interesting characters they become badly written in later series
You’re also forgetting the most important thing. Sentry doesn’t exist. Robert Reynolds may not even exist. Sometimes Bob Reynolds is a volunteer test subject, sometimes he’s a drug addict who broke into a lab and shot up random chemicals, sometimes he’s merely the human persona of an evil god.
Sentry has this whole bootstrap paradox thing going on. Did he always exist? Or did he come into existence later and retcon himself into being always there?
Some comic runs go with that and others play him straight as “Superman but Marvel”. Sentry as a character has a huge amount of swing when it comes to quality. If the MCU wants to introduce Sentry, they need to tread a fine line if they want to avoid another Captain Marvel.
He’s a reality warper who self actualized his own existence. He stood up against the Molecule Man (who destroyed and rebuilt the multiverse during Secret Wars), and took the combined might of nearly every hero and villain magically enhanced by the things that give Asgardians their power to fight him to a draw.
Also, he’s patient zero for Marvel Zombies (also by Kirkman)
For people who don’t know who Sentry is

There’s going to be a new limited series involving him coming December 6th
Also was a heavy drug addict which led to him getting super powers in the first place .

You mean avoid another character to headline a movie grossing a billion dollars?
Feels like a weird thing to avoid.
