There exist many YouTube channels that critique a single movie extremely in-depth of multiple hours. I thought, being a writer myself, how great it would be to have something similar to that for books. Are there any channels that do such really in-depth critiques for bad books? Like they go scene by scene, they dissect the themes, where the books went wrong, how it could be improved, etc.?

I really enjoy Unresolved Textual Tension. They do more of a podcast rather than a video, though.

came here to recommend this! It’s not exclusive to bad books but they do quite a few of them. They do focus a lot of story structure in their discussions which I find really helpful, but most of all I like that it sounds like a discussion that I would like to have with my friends.

I usually watch them on their Youtube channel.
