Even though it may be unlikely, with the reveal of Josh Keaton and the cover teaser in the promo art for season 2. With the show’s pacing leaving us on that Omni-Man reveal, how many episodes until Spider-Man shows up from then?
The fight sequence in which Spider-Man is most likely to potentially have a cameo is actually the very next major thing that happens in the comics after the business with Omni-Man that they’ve set up for next episode. So if they go 1:1 with the comics, it would be in episode 5. However, the way they’ve set certain things up makes me think that a different major sequence will be moved up to episode 5, and the one with potential Spider-Man will be in episode 6. For some reason, a lot of people on this sub seem to think it’ll be in the finale, but IMO there’s no way it can be that late, unless they drastically rework a bunch of other sequences so they can be moved up ahead of it.
1% chance it’d happen but I think it’d be neat to see the cameo happen in Marvel’s What If?
Unlikely by my estimation. Sony and Disney gotta shake on it? The first time they met (in comics) was prior to the Disney purchase.
Sony owns the rights to Spider-Man in film and live-action TV (and animated if exceeding 44 minutes), Marvel owns everything else. A Spider-Man appearance in Invincible would fall to Sony’s approval.
