I only watched the show but many comic readers said Omni man wasn’t supposed to show up in the latest ep and neither of Allen backstory. I don’t want to feel like the show is moving too quickly and cutting out tons of content just to get to the best parts. Is the comic suffering for the show’s pacing?

The Allen plot was adapted from issue 23 while the Mark plot was adapted from issue 25. This is exactly where they should be considering that season 1 adapted the majority of the first 20 issues.

I still don’t understand why people thought he was going to show up in the finale.from the time omniman leave and we see him again, there’s only 10 issues some of which they did in season 1. The angstrom stuff was done perfectly into 1 episode.so was all the set up stuff into episode 2. Then the Allen stuff in ep 3

Don’t forget that the timeline in the show is significantly changed already. Several events such as Mark’s first trip to Mars and DA Sinclair’s Reanimen didn’t occur in the comics until after Omni Man had revealed his deception and fled earth, for example. They’re switching up the sequence of some events, presumably to better fit the show’s format.
