Watching season 2, going good so far. However, It came to my mind that if instead of an animated series it were directly adapted as a live action show by like the cw or something it would have been so much worse.

I just imagine another reality where it was adapted by the cw, my condolences to them.

    I freaking HATE the incessant need to turn things into live action. I’m bracing myself for yet another foray into live action with The Last Airbender and I’m just so annoyed by it.

      Especially because certain stories are adapted way better as animation rather than live action. There are things possible in animation that would either be impossible or hugely expensive in live action.

      I don’t think making something live action is inherently bad, but I also just think seeing how things are adapted from one medium to another is cool.

      Another live action air bender and another live action Gundam are coming. Neither of which will be any good.

      I got hopes from the Cyberpunk live action project recently announced. Gotta love studios making something new instead of weak adaptations, even if it’s spin offs. And boy, does the cyberpunk world need a ton of spin offs!
