Watching season 2, going good so far. However, It came to my mind that if instead of an animated series it were directly adapted as a live action show by like the cw or something it would have been so much worse.

I just imagine another reality where it was adapted by the cw, my condolences to them.

Yeah, I doubt Kirkman would allow that, especially after what happened with the walking dead and AMC.

Season one was so painfully bad that I refused to watch season 2 before seeing community reaction. Considering the actually good TV I’ve been meaning to watch I doubt I’ll be watching it anytime soon.

Watching WoT now. I haven’t read and will not read the books. However my brother is a super fan and he is enjoying it. I am also enjoying it after two episodes.

Hey the WoT season 2 was soooo much better.

It’s not the best but at least it’s better than the billy Zane version that aired on FXX at like 3am just to keep the TV/movie rights

Yeah it’s why even though I have my grpes with some of the changes, they’re pretty nitpicky in my eyes considering how fast and loose some comic book adaptions have been for the worse.

the cw sucks as a network and has made some terrible shows over the years, but let’s not act like the cw can’t make good superhero shows. Smallville, S&L, stargirl, arrow, and early season flash comes to mind, Though while saying that I don’t think invincible could really work as a live action show anyway due to how wide and expansive the show is and the fight scenes being big and intense.

No way that train scene could work well in live action

Im so over live action everything when alot of stuff like this just works so much better with animation.I feel the same way with star wars, I finally watched clone wars in 2020 and animation just makes it easier to do the cool shit these universes lend themselves to and all the live action shows that came out after Mando 2 were just disappointing at best. I doubt Invincible would be half as good live action and alot of the time when they do those live action ones the people in charge want to change everything so they can leave their personal mark over making a good show

There would be a love triangle between Mark, Even, and Amber in season 1. We would barely get any superhero-related stuff. Everything would be about romance, drama, and that one filler episode that becomes a musical for some reason. I’m talking to you CW Flash.
