Warning: considerably significant comic spoilers ahead~

There are two events seen in the trailers that have yet to appear in the season:

  1. Viltrumites battle on Thraxa
  2. Lizard League not being pathetic for once

We know that they will show up in the first part because:

  1. Why would only those two be in the second part?
  2. Both have already been highly teased
  3. It makes sense

Now, comic readers know that the Lizard League battle doesn’t take place until later on in the books. In the comics, Omnipotus is the big threat on Earth while Mark is on Thraxa. However, I think this change is totally fine and honestly, Omnipotus is pretty banal.

    I just don’t see how the lizard league would take out immortal, Amanda and Rudy plus all the others.Cecil would send everyone he has available to stop the lizard league because of the threat. They definitely don’t have time for lizard league, sequids and thraxa

    They could just push omnipotus to kick off Ep. 5 while Mark heals instead of cutting into the Viltrumite fight

    The Lizard League fight in ep. 4 probably isn’t the full one that happens during the Sequid invasion, probably just a preliminary part of King Lizard’s plan, something for the Guardians to do during the mid-season finale.

    I want ep 7 to have the Guardians going to space and then focus on the Lizard League ambush, and then ep 8 is the space-sequid battle + the wind down and aftermath of everything. Nolan’s books. Allen recovers. Thadeus reveal. Oliver learning and growing rapidly. Mark and Amber split up.

    That leaves a big tentpole event for every episode for the reason of the season. Viltrumites. Omnipotus. Angstrom+Spider-Man. Lizard League. Sequid space battle.
