As a therapist, I’m horrified by this woman’s toxic, abusive behavior. Can you imagine how women would react if this was a man demanding sex violently? What I wish Nikki could see is the amount of toxic masculinity that she puts out there. Her man is taking giant risks in a culture that is not accepting. And he should because that’s what we do for loved ones. She recognizes none of this. It’s just so sick and sad to watch this.
She has some serious issues, which she needs to address. I know she probably went through several hardships, trauma and discrimination which caused her to act insecure the way she is today, but I do think she struggles with her identity. She has this perception that everyone thinks she is trans or that they know. For example, in the restuarant she was telling Igor that that guy was clocking her, when reality he would have no idea she was trans, more likely just judging her for all the plastic surgery and outfit choices (they’re in a conservative society, and she is complete opposite). I think she struggles with her identity, and her hypersexuality is a way for her to sort of compensate. She feels loved or validated if Igor is attracted to her sexually. It’s not healthy.
